American Asset Buyers primarily evaluates qualifying items based on the factors relevant to the particular transaction. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, an evaluation of precious metal content should not be interpreted as a professional appraisal of an item's antique, artistic, historical, numismatic, gemstone, brand, or collectible value.

Offers and Acceptance

After an evaluation, American Asset Buyers may provide an offer based on the results of the review and relevant market conditions.

You are not obligated to accept an offer simply because an item has been evaluated, unless you have separately authorized processing or refining under terms that make the material irreversible or otherwise agreed to a binding transaction.

An offer is not considered accepted until the parties complete the applicable acceptance process.

We reserve the right to revise or withdraw an unaccepted offer if:

Market conditions change
Testing identifies different material characteristics
Weight or purity differs from information previously supplied
Material composition differs from its description
An error occurred during the initial calculation
Additional relevant information becomes available

Once an offer has been accepted and the transaction completed, the sale may be final to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Refining Services

Certain materials may require refining to determine or recover their precious metal content.

Refining may permanently alter, combine, process, melt, or otherwise change the submitted material. Once irreversible refining has begun with the customer's authorization, the original items generally cannot be returned to their previous condition.

Where refining services apply, settlement may depend on factors such as recovered precious metal content, assay or testing results, applicable market pricing, and any terms communicated for the specific transaction or commercial account.

Customers should understand the applicable refining arrangement before authorizing processing.

Coins, Bullion, and Collectible Items

American Asset Buyers may evaluate qualifying coins, bars, rounds, and bullion.

Precious metal value and collectible value are not necessarily the same. A coin, watch, jewelry item, or other asset may have characteristics that affect its value beyond its underlying precious metal content.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, a precious metal evaluation should not be treated as a certified numismatic appraisal, gemstone appraisal, watch authentication, antique appraisal, or independent collectible valuation.

Customers who believe an item may have substantial value beyond its metal content may choose to obtain an appropriate independent appraisal before selling it.
